(Doha-NewsHalal-Muharram 19, 1436, November 01, 2015) Australian Minister of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries Hon Ken Baston visited the headquarters of Hassad Food, Qatar.
Hassad Food was established in 2008 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Qatar Investment Authority is Qatar’s premier investor in the food and agri-business sectors, the Qatar News Agency reported.
Australian Minister of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries Hon Ken Baston visited the headquarters of Hassad Food, accompanied by Chief of Staff to the Minister Trevor Whittington, along with other members of the delegation.
The Australian delegation met with Chairman and Managing Director of Hassad Food, Nasser Mohamed Al Hajri, they reportedly discussed the current and future outlook of Hassad Food’s investments in Australia, and any possible support that can be provided by the state.
They also discussed potential collaboration between Australian companies and Hassad Food’s subsidiaries. (QNA)
Expanding the investment and business, Hassad Foods has subsidiaries in Pakistan and Australia while the company also invested in Bush Foods Overseas, India.
