Qatar Tourism Authority and Qatar Airways collaborate to hold the seventh annual Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF).

Running from March 22 to 28, the annual event will celebrate culinary culture under the theme “A Different Side of Food.” Held in the spectacular open‐air waterfront setting of the Museum of Islamic Art Park, QIFF features the finest cuisineand culinary skills of many of Doha’s top chefs, as well as celebrity cookery experts from overseas.

Following the notable success of last year’s QIFF at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Park, which attracted 170,000 visitors over the course of five days, the seventh edition of the festival will kick off at the Museum of Islamic Art Park on March 22 and highlight the Qatar-China Year of Culture 2016.

Formerly a five-day-long affair, QIFF will now last one week until March 28, with satellite events being held at Katara Cultural Village, the Pearl-Qatar and other locations.

This year, there will be a focus on Chinese food, as part of the Qatar-China 2016 Year of Culture celebrations. The event is expected to attract celebrity chefs from Doha and abroad, taking part in events such as the Qatar Airways Dinner in the Sky and Cooking Theatre.
