World Halal Travel Summit & Exhibition 2015 to be held in Abu Dhabi HALALEVENTS

(Abu Dhabi-NewsHalal, Dhu-AlQa'dah 19, 1436, September 03, 2015) World Halal Travel Summit and Exhibition (WHTS15) to be held in Abu Dhabi from 19 – 21 October 2015 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC).

As per organizers statistics, the event will attract government officials and professionals developing, and investing in global Halal tourism. Over 6,000 invited participants, including travel and tourism professionals and agencies, hospitality groups and hoteliers, tour operators, developers, destinations and key industry decision makers from around the globe are scheduled to attend, in addition to over 200 international exhibitors and sponsors.

Hosam Moustafa, event manager of WHTS15 quoted as saying “Halal tourism is growing at six percent per annum, faster than any other travel sector. Subsequently, the global Halal travel market is projected to be worth US$ 238 billion by 2019. Keeping these growth factors in mind, response from exhibitors and tourism professionals has been overwhelmingly positive and extremely encouraging.”

The three-day Abu Dhabi Halal Travel summit will also include seminars and panel discussions highlighting key issues facing Halal tourism. It features two partner events: ITHMAR15, dedicated to Tourism Investment in the Halal Travel Sector and TURATH15, focusing on cultural tourism experiences. Associated seminar sessions will take place throughout the event, covering topics including "Intra-OIC Tourism Trends and Opportunities" and "Funding Tourism Projects within The OIC Space".
